Intel® JTAG debugger products are designed to make the developer’s job easier. We have worked with Intel for over fifteen years, providing tools that are feature-rich in both hardware and software, making it easy for the user to accelerate development time. An example is UEFI development, where we provide macro files that allow for context-sensitive debugging in the PEIM, DXE and other boot phases.

Arium ECM-XDP3e Run-Control Probe

A member of the Intel® Embedded and Communications Alliance, the Arium ECM-XDP3e and the SourcePoint debugger software interface were designed to be optimized for Intel® Core™,  Atom™, and Xeon® processor families.

The Arium ECM-XDP3e is our latest “green” JTAG run-control probe, complying with the RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) directive specified for the EU market. SourcePoint, the company’s flagship debugger, offers the program and firmware developer unsurpassed visibility to and manipulation of code via a series of intuitive screens and dialogs with numerous viewing and customization options.

The debug solution operates in real-time with all core frequencies and works with today’s most popular compiler tool chains. It supports industry-standard input file formats and includes a robust C-like command language as well as support for the Intel® Framework for UEFI.

ASSET Closed Chassis Controller for Intel Designs using USB3 - Direct Connect Interface

The ASSET Closed Chassis Controller (CCC) provides for Closed Chassis Debug of Intel designs which support Direct Connect Interface (DCI) via Boundary Scan Side Band (BSSB). It also supports on-target trace (LBR, BTS, AET and Intel Processor Trace) if so enabled by the silicon. The host connection for the CCC supports USB 2.0 and 10/100/1G Ethernet speeds to provide maximum speed and flexibility. Target access is via a USB 3.0 connector on the target that has been designed in accordance with Intel platform guidelines for closed chassis debug. ASSET InterTech adheres to the Intel platform debug connection standards.
