Editors at EDN chose ScanWorks from among thousands of new products released during 2011
Richardson, TX – ASSET® InterTech’s ScanWorks® FPGA-controlled test (FCT) has been named to the Hot 100 Products list by the editors of EDN magazine, an authoritative publication and web site serving the electronics industry. According to the announcement by EDN, the editors of the magazine chose ScanWorks from among the thousands of new products released over the past year. “Here are the 100 (products) that caught the attention of our editors and our readers based on innovation, significance, and popularity,” the announcement said. Being included on the Hot 100 list follows on the heels of ScanWorks FCT being named a finalist for a Best-in-Test award from Test & Measurement World magazine. That announcement was made Nov. 15.

In this case ScanWorks FCT inserts multiple embedded instruments temporarily into a functional FPGA that isn’t dedicated to test, configures these instruments as a board tester and then operates the embedded tester from a drag-and-drop interface.”
